Injection Services
Pharmacists can administer a wide range of injection medications right in the pharmacy. In addition to flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines, we can administer diabetes medications such as Ozempic, hormones, biologics, vitamins, inhaled substances, travel vaccines and routine vaccines.

The Village Pharmacy is a helpful option when it comes to getting your injections:

you don’t feel comfortable with self-administration

For all injection medications, you’ll need a valid prescription from your doctor.
Bring your prescription to The Village Pharmacy. You can also ask your doctor to fax us the prescription, use the app or email us
We’ll order the medication right away and give you a date to come in for your injection
We offer onsite training for self-administering the injection medication
There is a $20 fee for injections administered at The Village Pharmacy, in addition to the cost of the prescription.

We’re conveniently located close to transit and wheelchair accessible, and you’ll have a private, confidential space to get your injection. Health and safety protocols are in place.
Routine Adult Vaccines for Common Infections
It’s important to stay up-to-date on your routine vaccinations to prevent serious illness. We can help make it easier! Ask your doctor about your routine vaccination status at your next appointment. Bring in your prescription. We’ll fill it and administer the vaccine for you, right in the pharmacy.
A $20.00 fee will be applied in addition to the prescription cost of the vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccine
Covid-19 Vaccines are available at The Village Pharmacy. Everyone over 18 years of age is eligible. There is no charge for COVID-19 vaccines.
The Flu Shot
The Village Pharmacy offers the flu shot each year, usually starting in October/November. Both the high-dose flu vaccine and regular-dose vaccines are available.
The flu vaccine is always available free of charge at The Village Pharmacy.
Travel Vaccines
When you’re ready to travel, you can get travel vaccines at The Village Pharmacy.
A $20.00 fee will be applied in addition to the prescription cost of the vaccine.

Dukoral (Traveller’s Diarrhea)
Japanese Encephalitis

Many injection and inhaled medications can be administered by pharmacists in Ontario.
As of July 1, 2023, pharmacists in Ontario are authorized to administer injections and inhaled substances for a wide variety of medications and vaccines. All our pharmacists at The Village Pharmacy have completed their Injection Certifications.
