How does the PrEP Clinic work?
In just a few steps, you’ll get everything you need to start PrEP. We make it fast, easy, and convenient to get your prescription & prevent HIV.
Step 1: Consultation
📞 Consult our pharmacist in person or virtually.
We have loads of experience in PrEP! You’ll get important info about starting PrEP, answers to your questions, a bloodwork form, plus direct access to a local, Toronto-based PrEP doctor. Having a local doctor (MD) means you get regular follow-up appointments and can proactively take care of your health.
Step 2: Bloodwork & Doctor’s Appointment
👨⚕️ Once your lab results are in, you’ll see a doctor to review your results and get your prescription for PrEP.
Have your doctor fax your prescription to The Village Pharmacy: 535 Yonge St (at Wellesley) or 2518 Yonge St (at Castlefield, north of Eglinton). You’ll have follow-up appointments with your doctor, usually every 3 months.
Step 3: Get your PrEP meds
